The emNet Address Collision Detection (ACD) module allows user-specific configuration of behavior if an IPv4 address collision is detected. If detected, this means that more than one host in the network is using the same IPv4 address at the same time. This is discovered by sending ARP discover packets in order to find hosts with the same addresses within the network.
